Policy paper: What the Charity Commission expects from trustees in its casework
Sets out what the commission expects when it contacts trustees or charity officers or they contact the commission, including:
- preparing adequately by reading commission guidance first and having all the information you need
- providing true, complete and correct information
- responding to the commission’s requests on time and keeping it informed
- understanding that it’s an offence to knowingly or recklessly provide false or misleading information to the commission
